Metalworks Blog – Liverpool Series 2
Jean Liggett, Managing Director at Properties of the World, shares her experience of her trip to Liverpool and the various developments that she visited. This time she describes visiting the site where the Metalworks Apartments were being developed.
We reached the site where Metalworks was being built. It sits on the edge of Liverpool, one of Europe’s most exciting and dynamic cities. There hardly isn’t any distance between the development and the city centre; we managed to make it from Dale Street to the site in 15mins. Also, from where we stood, we saw the city skyline towering in the distance.
The development is set to accommodate 1 and 2 luxury bed apartments which are designed for practical and stylish urban living. Brilliantly designed rooms like the living room, spacious and simple with its large windows, portray elegance and beauty without need for complication. Included for residents will be access to a round the clock concierge service, private on-site parking and secure cycle storage.
The development is being constructed in Liverpool’s business district – which is going through a huge transformation, culminating in the creation of new social space and amenities similar to the regeneration of the Docklands in London.
I find that this development has huge potential for great capital growth making it a great opportunity for investors to commit to. The development as an off-plan project has a number of benefits which makes it an ideal choice to invest in. Prices at the Metalworks start from £103,000 for a 1 bed – which is lower than the average price of buying a completed property which is around £120,000. By purchasing in up and coming cities such as Liverpool, Investors will be able to secure well located properties before they hit their most competitive pricing. It’s like undiscovered treasure hidden in plain sight!
This development surely is going to attract much more attention, being an ideal place to live for professionals, graduates and families alike. I can’t wait to return when the property has been built and is ready for occupancy.
An interesting fact to note about the city is that Liverpool is twinned as a sister city with a couple of cities of around the world including Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro and Birmingham in Alabama.
The journey across Liverpool has taken Jean to more exciting developments within the city; return next week to find out more!
